Reports

The Reports section in BMS gives you a single, unified view of all your revenue — online payments, cash, and card combined. You never need to log into Stripe or any other platform separately to understand how your business is performing.

What the Report Includes

Each report shows the following information for your selected time period:

  • Total orders — the number of orders received, broken down by day, week, or month.
  • Revenue breakdown by payment method — see exactly how much came in via cash, card at counter, and online payments.
  • Online payment fees — the processing fees deducted by Stripe on online orders. This helps you track the actual cost of accepting online payments.
  • GST calculation — the total GST collected across all orders (for GST-registered businesses). GST applies to all payment methods, not just online.
  • Net income — your revenue after fees and GST, giving you a clear picture of what you actually earned.
tip

The report combines all payment methods into one view so you can see your complete business performance at a glance. No more cross-referencing multiple dashboards.

Filtering Your Report

You can narrow down the report using the following filters:

Date Range

Select a start and end date to view orders within a specific period. You can look back up to 6 months from today.

Location

  • All locations — see combined revenue across your entire business.
  • Specific location — filter to a single location to understand its individual performance.
note

If you operate multiple locations, the "All locations" view is useful for getting the big picture, while the per-location filter helps you compare performance and identify trends at each site.

Exporting Your Report

You can download your report as an Excel spreadsheet for offline analysis, bookkeeping, or sharing with your accountant.

To export:

  1. Set your desired filters (date range, location).
  2. Click the Download or Export button.
  3. The spreadsheet will be saved to your device.

The exported file includes all the same data shown on screen — orders, revenue by payment method, fees, GST, and net income — in a structured format ready for further analysis.

info

The export includes the raw data behind the report, making it suitable for importing into accounting software or creating custom analyses in Excel or Google Sheets.

Understanding Fee Columns

The fee columns in the report only apply to online payments. Cash and card-at-counter transactions do not have platform fees deducted by CliqMenu or Stripe, so those columns will show zero for non-online orders.

If you have configured surcharges to offset your Stripe fees, you can compare the surcharge revenue against the fee column to see whether your surcharge rate is covering your costs.

Coming Soon

Enhanced charts and visual summaries are planned for a future update. These will include trend graphs, payment method comparisons over time, and location performance dashboards — all within BMS.
